Costume and stage design for Dada Dans, a dance piece made by Rósa Ómarsdóttir and Inga Huld Hákonardóttir in collaboration with The Icelandic Dance Company in The City Theatre in Reykjavík.
The scenography and costume designed merged into one with “ready-made” stage components becoming costumes and vice versa.
2016 marked the 100 year anniversary of Dadaism and Iceland Dance Company participated in this celebration with the premiere of Da Da Dance. In Da Da Dance the choreographers Rósa and Inga explored the various views and methods of Dadaists and contemplated whether these methods and ideas are still relevant today.
