,,When discussing her inspiration behind the designs for BIOEFFECT, which she titled 'Absorb'. "The inspiration came from the EGF Serum and its journey from the 'outer' world into the 'inner' world," she explained. Thordis Erla says she was inspired by the mystery surrounding the serum’s effects on skin, which motivated her to illustrate its journey through skin layers until it reaches its destination and starts working its magic. In the process, she aimed to interact with the brand’s identity and create a three-dimensional space from its iconic two-dimensional stripes."
Through the layers
I feel like there is a certain mystery about the serum and its effects, so I wanted to illustrate the journey through the skinlayers and the effect is has on them until reaching its destination where it starts to do its magic.
